Curriculum Approach
Dara Christian High School follows the national O-Level and A-Level curricula as defined by the Ministry of Education and UNEB, while enriching learning with practical, competency-based learning and Christian character formation.
O-Level (Senior 1–4)
Subjects offered at O’ Level: English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, History, Geography, Christian Religious Education (CRE), ICT, Kiswahili, Entrepreneurship Education, Physical Education.
A-Level (Senior 5–6)
Subject combinations: Sciences and Arts.
Students choose three principal subject cluster with complementary subsidiary subjects depending on career goals.
Teaching & Assessment
- Active learning, project work, and group assignments.
- Continuous assessment, class tests, assignments, activity of integrations (AoIs) and projects.
- Regular continuous professional development to support modern pedagogy.
